Shiells Law Firm P.C. was founded in 2011 by Theodore F. Shiells, who brings more than 30 years of experience in intellectual property law, including as a partner in large law firms in New York and Texas.  He is licensed to practice in Texas, New York and California and is a Registered Patent Attorney in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  

The firm obtains patents, trademarks, and copyrights for its clients, litigates those matters in the courts, negotiates license agreements and counsels clients on all aspects of intellectual property law. Shiells Law Firm is one of just a few firms experienced in Inter Partes Review ("IPR") proceedings in the Patent Trial and Appeals Board ("PTAB").
